Statement of faith
What we believe
Revelational knowledge is key!
…in one God, revealed in three Persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
…that the Bible is God’s inspired Word; it is our guide, and the supreme revelation of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
…that Jesus Christ is both God and Man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, led a sin-less life, took all our sins upon Himself, died and rose again. Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator.
… that sin has darkened the minds of all people so that they cannot see God, but that Christ came in order that people’s inward eyes would be opened to see who God is and what God has done through Jesus Christ.
.....that people are saved by believing in their heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with their mouth that Jesus is Lord to receive the gift of salvation. There still needs to be a response from the individual to receive this gift of salvation.
…that salvation is a gift freely given to all, who repent (change one’s mind) from self-effort works that do not produce righteousness and come to God, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is a new life in Christ and this life produces works pleasing to God.
... that we are saved by grace freely given to us at salvation, and the same grace that saved us is also able to change our lifestyle and behavior. However the grace that is received freely costed the life of God to purchase mankind to Himself.
... that there is no salvation in works (neither in the presence of good works nor in the absence of bad works), but only in Jesus Christ and His finished work of the cross.
…that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter, who brings to our understanding who Christ is and what Christ has done. He also blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit.
...that at the point of salvation, the Holy Spirit in all His fullness, is given to all believers in Jesus to guide them into all the truth in all areas of their life.
…that Christ’s death, resurrection and exaltation to the right hand of the Father constitutes finished work of Christ, whereby all believers receive eternal life.
…that believers are called to preach the gospel of Christ, the word of reconciliation, to all nations, and that this is the supreme task of the church.
…in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead and the final judgment by Jesus Christ according to the gospel.
A believer who understands that the same authority that raised Christ from the dead is in him begins to live a life full of exploits while any believer that lacks the knowledge of the authority given to him in Christ, will suffer as though he were a mere man.
In all your getting, get knowledge and understanding (Proverbs 4:7) of your true identity in Christ i.e who you are in Christ, what you have in Christ and what Christ can do through you.
You will not find any religious teachings at Reigning in Life International Ministries, Japan. Religion is man's attempt to reach God through self-effort. It seems right to man but the end of it is death (Prov 14:12). At Reigning in Life International Ministries-Japan, we preach and teach that God has come down for man in order to save man - big difference!
We Reign in Life (Rom 5:17)
That means we have the ability to stand in the presence of God without a sense of inferiority, fear, sin-consciousness, guilt or condemnation. It also means that instead of being ruled by satan and all of his works, we now rule and reign over him!
Are you tired of fear, stress, sin-consciousness, guilt/condemnation, sickness and all manner of evil.? Do you have any unanswered questions in your life and you are badly in need of answers? Then probably Reigning in Life International Ministries, Japan is a place for you. Your life will never remain the same as you come to fellowship with us!
We advocate for the gospel of the grace of Jesus Christ: Jesus alone, grace alone, faith alone. Our purpose is twofold: to help the Church re-discover Jesus (God manifest in the flesh) and to change the way the world sees God!
