THE THREE TABERNACLES-MOUNT HERMON ENCOUNTER

Matthew 17:1-8 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” 5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”  6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid.  7 But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” 8 When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only. What happened at the Mount of Transfiguration was a prophecy of end times church. Elijah - The Prophets Moses - The Law Jesus - Grace

In verse 4 of our proof text Peter was so in awe that he wanted to build 3 tabernacles for Jesus, Elijah and Moses. That's exactly what is happening in today's church. The doctrine of Jesus is preached interchangeably with doctrines of Elijah and Moses. Elijah doctrine is the one of killing witches, consuming your enemies by fire, "fall and die", "Be roasted", "catch fire catch fire", "more petrol more kerosene" Moses doctrine is the one that requires man's performance to meet God's standard of righteousness. In Moses' doctrine holiness is sinlessness and righteousness is right doing. In Jesus doctrine holiness means to be set apart and righteousness means right standing with God without guilt, sin consciousness and self condemnation. As Moses cast the tree into bitter water of Marah, many denominations mix trees with water to heal. Others kill animals and make sacrifices like Moses. 1. One service you are taught to love witches. That's Jesus. 2. Another service you call fire and increase kerosene on witches. That's Elijah doctrine.

3. Another service it's suffer the witch not to live. That's Moses. That's the 3 tabernacles that Peter wanted to build. And after Peter spoke, the 7th Person appeared in the scene. And let's hear His words. Mathew 17:5 "While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” The Father said we should hear Jesus. Not Moses. Not Elijah. Moses and Elijah were pointers to Jesus and His appearance retires them. We read and learn from them but we don't minister them. Their writings must be interpreted. Even Moses during his ministry he said we should hear Jesus. Deuteronomy 18:15 “The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear" Acts 3:22 "For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you" This means Jesus in the 4 gospels and the Spirit of Truth in the Epistles have final authority.  Which means we read Moses and all the Prophets using New Testament glasses. Jesus rebuked John and James when they tried to call fire from heaven to consume Samaria. He even said Elijah used contrary spirit. And we hear Jesus. Luke 9:55 But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. According to Jesus when Moses doctrine is preached it accuses the brethren before their Father. John 5:45-47 Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust.  46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” Moses pointed the Israelites to Christ but when they rejected Christ he gave them the law. The law was response to man's rebellion and hardness of heart. The original plan of God is salvation through faith in Christ, Not the law. Galatians 3:19 What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator. There are denominations built on the law of Moses. Instead of submitting to God's righteousness, their righteousness is based on do's and don'ts. Well just like Elijah and Moses vanished at Mount Hermon (Olives), their doctrines will vanish and grace doctrine will cover the earth as the waters that cover the sea. Even though people condemn grace and grace preachers, accusing them of giving people licence to sin, Grace will withstand perilous times in these end times.

It's high time legalism, fortune telling and spectacular collapse. The preaching of the finished works of Christ will stand alone.
