Explaining God's sovereignty

Heb 2:1 How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation! Salvation is so critical that we must pay attention to it! Neglect means to treat lightly.

2 Tim 3:15-16 The scripture have one mission which is to bring us to a place of wisdom. Our conviction is derived from the holy scriptures, so we must pay attention to it.

1John 5:20 There's an understanding in Christ, Jesus is the explanation of all things! The sovereignty of God can be seen within the subject of salvation.

You can't explain the sovereignty of God as an academic pursuit. God does all he wants in Christ Jesus... So the sovereignty of God can only be seen in Christ

God's plan is offered to everyone equally...Christ is God's sovereignty. We are all the same in Christ no preclusion no seclusion no selection. Gal 6:15 In Christ the only thing that avails is the new creation, a new kind of humanity that never existed before. The new creation is a principle that should dawn on you!

Once you meet Christ, a brand new man comes out, you don't have a past. Nothing avails only the new creation. There's no change to be done anymore...all the changes are in Christ, he has produced the needed change. Galatians 6:16

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

The new creation is the reality of God. We see the almightiness of God in Christ Jesus. Whatever is in Christ is for everybody. Whatever you find in Christ Jesus is the sovereignty of God. John 9:4-5 The sovereignty of God is in Christ. God's sovereignty can be seen in Christ, who's the light etc. God is not involved in bad things, he gave life, he saves, he loves so does not get involved in bad things.

God does not do what he wants to do outside Christ, all his deeds are in Christ. All the works of the prophets were progressive revelation. He pulled out of both the Jews and the Gentiles to get the new man. Nothing can change what God says.

God's sovereignty is not in individual actions. What Christ doesn't do God doesn't do. God is revealed in Christ. Choices are made out of desires of men.

In God's sovereignty which cannot be changed he gave man a choice, that choice cannot be changed. God does not influence the choices of man. But He will show you the scripture that may guide you in making your choices. The scriptures has already brightened the future if you are guided therein.

God is not the one making things happen, man makes things happen. When he created man he said, let them have...his is not in control, man is! If he wants anything done he subjects his will to man. God is not in control, if God was in control things will be different! Like this church right now would have been filled to overflow! God does not usurp man's authority or choices, he persuades men using his love!

The concept of sin

The concept of sin explains God's sovereignty. The concept of sin demystifies God's sovereignty! James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: "God cannot"!...the temptation is within man's desire... It's in the desire that you have choices. It is within the sovereignty of God that he gave man the ability to choose.

God is a giving God! He gives...to all men liberally and does not find fault... Let no man say...God can't tempt with evil! God is not associated with temptation. Christ is the express image of God, he does not tempt rather he provides a way of escape to man out of temptation which is salvation.! God does not cause man to sin though he gave man choice or right to sin or not.

Whatever God does is a settled reality...it's not heaven at last rather its heaven at first. Satan is not even recognized in the process of sin...Satan is hiding somewhere taking the glory since it is what he (Satan) loves. Luke 9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. Anywhere there's a destruction then God is not there, this reveals the character of God, he has no involvement in any form of destruction.

God's sovereignty is to respect man's choice. He respects you so much that he allows you to go to hell if you so choose! Man calls the shot...what you loose or bind...same is loose or bond in heaven! He's the author of faith not the author of confusion, once you see confusion then God is not there, that is why the only place you can see the sovereignty of God is in Christ Jesus.

He permits men to sin, the same way he does not permit men to sin...and both actions are from man! James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. It is an error to say that God is in control of everything. Since he's not in control of sins, actions, choices etc, it means God is not in control of everything!

God's sovereignty is not in individuals neither is it in individuals actions. God's sovereignty is explained within the framework of salivation or Jesus Christ. God is only in control within Christ, outside Christ, man is the one in control! Men must learn to take responsibility for choices made!

Grace and peace be multiplied to you!
