Deliverance is not a prayer NOR service, Deliverance is a preaching.

Deliverance is not prayers. There is nothing like prayers of deliverance. Deliverance is the forgiveness of sin/sins or freedom from sin, death and demonic powers. Casting out of demons is not deliverance. Demons can be cast out of a human body but the person is still not delivered.(e.g slave girl in Acts 16). Deliverance is a message that enables people move from darkness to light Col 1:13. The movement is ONCE, NOT A PROCESS! Being born again is deliverance which means you have received forgiveness of sin/sins. God doesn't deliver people from sin more than ONCE. (Colossians 1:13 KJV) Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of Jesus Christ. The death, burial and resurrection of Christ gave us deliverance from sin. Deliverance from sin is not an answer to prayer, deliverance from sin is not God responding to repentance.
Deliverance from sin is God giving you an offer of the forgiveness of sins that you never qualified for, you heard the gospel that your sins are forgiven (past, present and future) you believe that message, your sins forgiven is enforced so it's not what you did or didn't do but what Christ did that you heard and believed.
Acts.13.38 - Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: Acts.13.39 - And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Deliverance which is forgiveness of sin/sins is a preaching not prayer (Luke 4:18). NOTE THE TENSES USED IN THE ABOVE VERSE and Rom 8:2, Col 1:14, Eph 1:7 The power of darkness is sin and death. Christ has delivered Humanity from sin who's wages is death. REALLY???? 1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking for whom to devour. The key words in this verse are "seeking WHOM he may devour" meaning satan cannot devour everybody. The devil can NEVER devour a believer who is receiving the revelational knowledge of Jesus and His perfect work of redemption. Some believers are devoured by the devil because of lack of knowledge Hosea 4:6 says. Which knowledge?? The revelational knowledge of Jesus (not demons) and what He has already done for the believer.. No believer in Christ is bound. You cant be in Christ and bound at the same time; things don't add up here. The Lord's prayer roadmap which in some part says, "DELIVER us" is before the cross. Jesus had not gone to the cross and people were still under the bondage of the evil one. None of them was born-again at the time!!!!. No church or the body of Christ was in existence at the time.
However the good news is that the evil one was defeated through the cross( Read Col 2:14-15; Heb 2:14; 1 John 3:8 etc). The devil is already a defeated foe.. The only power he has is that of deception which must be countered with truth. We need to take seriously what God's word says including the tenses used. The devil was de-winged. He cannot do anything with the believer unless the believer coperates with him. That is why the bible tells us not to give place to the devil by arming ourselves with the truth. The basic advocates for the generational curse teaching will no doubt use Exodus 20:4-5 to back up their case. They say words like, “If you do bad things, God is going to punish your children, so don’t do bad things!” I encourage you to read the phrase of verse 5 that says, “…of those who hate Me.” Now let me ask you a quick question? Do you hate God as a born-again Christian? If you said no, then the generation curse doesn’t apply to you! The mainstream teaching on generational curses has left many believers unsure of where they stand, not knowing whether they have generational curses or not, and digging into their past to find out what grandmother or grandfather was into. Generational curse teachers also try to use this reasoning to explain why deformed or sick children are born the way they are. They speak words like “You have cancer because your mother had cancer, because her mother smoked.” Well that is not what Jesus said when He was asked by His disciples. He said, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned.” (John 9:3). You may be going through a tough situation right now, see you are not being punished because grandpa drank or womanised too much! Change your belief system. Right believing produces right living!! In relation to the above throw some light on 2 Cor 10:4-5 which says “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” The strongholds described above aren’t metal barriers or walls NOT the devil; they are ideas in people’s minds, beliefs, traditions and theories they have accepted in their life that have kept them from moving in the direction of God’s dream and destiny for them. Those strongholds can only be pulled down by the power of God’s Spirit, and His Word.
