Can I Lose Salvation? Or Once saved Always Saved?

Maybe we should start by asking before providing the answer-WHOSE SALVATION????

Luke 3:6 And all flesh shall see THE SALVATION OF GOD.

Acts 28:28 Be it known therefore unto you, that THE SALVATION OF GOD is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

Phil 1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but TO YOU OF SALVATION, AND THAT OF GOD

Jonah 2:9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. SALVATION IS OF THE LORD. SO, IT IS THE 'SALVATION OF GOD' NOT YOURS. YOU ARE A BENEFICIARY. YOU RECEIVE WHAT IS GIVEN. WHICHEVER WAY IT IS GIVEN.

WHAT IS GIVEN ? HOW IS IT GIVEN ? LET'S SEE...

Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became THE AUTHOR OF ETERNAL SALVATION unto all them that obey him;......What is given is Eternal not temporary Salvation. That is the brand that Jesus authors a.k.a (also known as) Eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have ETERNAL LIFE.a.k.a (also known as) Everlasting life.

CAVEAT! You can reject it before you have it. Once you have it, it is not yours to change! You cannot make it 'temporary', because you received it. He NEVER NEEDED your help in authoring it, why should He need your help to finish it ? Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Jesus gives a salvation sustained or kept ONLY by His power.

Heb 12:2 Looking unto JESUS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

HE HAS GOT THE POWER ! Rom1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for IT IS THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

IT IS IN HIS HANDS - NOT YOURS ! John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, NEITHER SHALL ANY MAN PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY HAND. John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and NO MAN IS ABLE to PLUCK THEM OUT of my Father's hand. A BELIEVER IS IN CHRIST AND CHRIST IS IN THE FATHER (2 COR. 5:17; JOHN 17:21,)-THIS DOUBLE SECURITY FOR THE BELIEVER!

HE IS ABLE TO SAVE WELL. THAT'S HIS JOB! Heb 7:25 Wherefore HE IS ABLE ALSO TO SAVE THEM TO THE UTTERMOST that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. He is able! Don't underrate Him!

Romans 8:38-35 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became THE AUTHOR OF ETERNAL SALVATION unto all them that obey him;.....................THE SALVATION JESUS GIVES IS NOT TEMPORARY/PARTIAL. IT IS ETERNAL IN NATURE. IF SALVATION YOU HAVE BEEN PREACHING IS IN INSTALLMENTS, IT IS NOT FROM JESUS!

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I WILL NEVER LEAVE THEE, NOR FORSAKE THEE.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; BUT IS PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE.

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the AUTHOR OF ETERNAL SALVATION unto all them that obey him;

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected FOREVER THEM THAT ARE SANCTIFIED.

Jud 1:24 Now UNTO HIM THAT IS ABLE TO KEEP YOU FROM FALLING, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy

So, salvation is not yours TO KEEP. It is the Lord's.Once you come to Jesus, it is His to keep - or lose you. Not you to keep - or lose yourself.

Luk 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, IF HE LOSE ONE OF THEM, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?Jesus is the Good Shepherd. HE DOES NOT LOSE SHEEP!

Hear Him...

Joh 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I SHOULD LOSE NOTHING, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that EVERY ONE WHICH SEETH THE SON, AND BELIEVETH ON HIM, MAY HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE: AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY.

So, when asked a question; 'Can I lose my salvation?' Also ask for Clarity: 'YOUR SALVATION, OR THE LORD'S?'

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is MY LIGHT AND MY SALVATION; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Salvation is not in the hands of the believer to keep.

JESUS REMAINS THE SAVIOR, THE KEEPER AND THE PRESENTER (Colossians 1:22). SALVATION is not a substance handed you like a Christmas gift you can misplace. No! Salvation made you. You are product of divine sacrifice. It would take an absolute reversal of this process to lose your salvation. Christ saves forever! He does not give salvation in instalments!

Our Sonship in Christ can NEVER be reversed. As ministers of the New Testament, we strive CONTINUALLY to present the true nature of God as revealed in Christ to the people. God is good and remains good! His omnipotence is seen solely in the consistency of His character regardless of external influences. He remains God of unconditional love regardless of what man thinks! There is we can do that will make God love us more and there is nothing that we will ever do that will make God love us less

A preacher once said the believer can decide to walk away from God. Well, God decided in Christ never to walk away from him! ...for He himself has said, "I WILL NEVER leave you nor forsake you." Heb 13:5. There are no conditions attached here. To add one condition is to walk in unbelief!

Can you just be grateful and glad this one time instead of looking for how to fault this post? He never walks away from us.......
